You've received this newsletter because you subscribed on my blog. I occasionally send out bite sized updates about what I'm working on, what's been posted on my blog, and what I've been reading on the web. If you don't want to receive these anymore, you can always unsubscribe.
Hi,
Next month I have the pleasure to speak at Full Stack Europe in Antwerp. My talk explores what I like about Svelte. I'll review Svelte & SvelteKit in general, and highlight the bits I like most, and why I believe Svelte is worth investing in.
In addition to the talk, I'm preparing an educational resource: Svelte by Example. Inspired by Go by Example, I want to create a succinct, gentle introduction to Svelte & SvelteKit to peak your curiosity.
It's still ways from finished, but I'd love to get some early feedback. If you're interested, reply to this mail and I'll send you a preview link.
PS: If you want to attend Full Stack Europe in Octoberโwhich I highly recommend!โ use this link for 15% off.
PPS: Svelte (/svษlt/ adjective) means slender and elegant. The perfect description for the framework.

๐ธ If you like playing around with photography apps on iOS, Stops is a breath of fresh air. Very basic feature set, but it uses it's own color quantization engine which gives your photos a lot more personality in the age of computational photography.
๐บ Across the Spider-Verse is and probably will be my movie of the year. Really enjoyed the first two seasons of Dave (haven't watched the third yet). Amazing character development. Another show recommendation: The Bear. Especially season 2, what a masterpiece.

On the horizon
This month my main focus is launching Svelte by Example. After that, I want to return to blogging regularly, and pick some open source work back up. I'm behind on maintenance, and have a backlog of new major versions and new package to work on. Oh, and I want to try to make this newsletter a monthly thing again. No pinkie promise though.
Fun times ahead!
Until the next issue, Seb
